As many of you know Barbara Cramer has been running an after-school Hebrew School program for the last few years at Beit Hamidrash. This is a very promising program, and WHTC was excited about the opportunity to help make it even better.

For the last couple months WHTC has assisted Barbara in creating the business plan for C.H.A.I - Collaborative Hebrew School After-School Initiative. This plan will expand this terrific program by bringing together the joint efforts of Beit Hamidrash, WHTC, Beit Avraham, Moreshet Yahadut Tehman and Kahal Levy for coordination, advertising, joint social events, and outreach to the local Jewish Community. In these difficult times this program is all the more important.

WHTC has agreed to assist in advertising and managing the finances for this program.

Now for the really exciting part: The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles was so impressed with the concept of this plan, they have agreed to fund it with $15,000 this year to help take it to the next level.

Yasher Koach to Barbara and everyone who helped make this happen. This is a really big accomplishment and extremely beneficial to the Jewish families of Woodland Hills and West Hills.
